The squash complexes used during the course of the week were spread evenly across the Peninsula (Southern and Northern Suburbs) and are within easy access from the preferred and recommended accommodation.
We will be using the following squash complexes during the week:
– Camps Bay Squash Club
– Durbanville Squash Club
– Evertsdal Squash Club
– Fish Hoek Squash Club
– WPCC (Western Province Cricket Club)
The ball to be used will be the Dunlop Pro Squash Ball (double yellow dot).

Teams will be responsible for their own transport to Cape Town and to the venues for the duration of the IPT.
Cape Town International Airport is 15km away from WPCC, an approximate 30 minute drive. Please take this into consideration when planning any flights and travel before and after the week.
Airport transfers are not possible through the Association or SA Squash. Own arrangements will need to be made by teams.

WHAT IS BIOKINETICS?
Biokinetics is the profession concerned with health promotion, the maintenance of physical abilities and final phase rehabilitation, by means of scientifically-based physical activity programme prescription.
HOW IT CAN BENEFIT YOU:
– PRE-GAME WARMUP:
Squash specific strengthening and stretches to help benefit your game, this can help prepare your muscles for your games.
– STRAPPING:
Kinesio strapping uses elastic tape to improve pain, movement, and healing for muscles and joints.
– POST-GAME COOLDOWN:
Static and dynamic stretching to release lactic acid build up during playing, which can help prevent muscle fatigue.
– OTHER:
There are other services that can help with your injuries and/or recovery. Please contact me for more information regarding these.

Note: Cape Town is extremely busy in July this year, with the World Rugby U20 Championships taking place (29 June – 19 July). We cannot stress it enough that accommodation will need to be booked asap, in order to facilitate your teams.
